Athelion
Athelion is a space-themed action game that still in development stages.
Athelion is set in a futuristic space universe, where you battle it out to the
death with opposing spaceships. Take control of a Lightwing Fighter, a Missile-firing
Corvette or a massive, powerful Ion Cruiser
and zoom around the galaxies destroying enemy ships.
The game features relatively simplistic 2D-gameplay, in a 3-Dimensional engine
built on the powerful OpenGL graphics library. Near-perfect polygon-based
line-intersection collision detection ensures interesting and fair gameplay.
Athelion is going to be released under the GNU Public License, which means it will
be free and open source, and always will be.
